Hi Indika,

For the Fuse HQ 4.1 release there will be some lifecycle support for JBI components and assemblies (ie deploy/undeploy/start/stop/shutdown assemblies and install/uninstall/start/stop/shutdown components).

For OSGi there is the features service which provides a means of wrapping multiple related bundles into a single "feature". These features can then be installed and uninstalled both from the servicemix console and over JMX. We're looking at providing some support for the features service in the HQ product.
