The Fuse perspective is on the Open Perspective tool bar icon (top right); usually only a couple of standard ones are in the menu, then you click Other... and see Fuse in a list of maybe 6 or 7 depending on what you've got installed.
I'm not sure there's much we can do about this; the list of perspectives that open up the first time you install Fuse IDE normally are something like Java | Debug or something; is there a way we can put Fuse in that default list you think?
Once folks have once, on installation, clicked Other -> Fuse - then it appears on their toolbar forever, so its not a huge biggie I guess; but it'd be nice if we could be on the first level popup menu when they click the "Open Perspective" button (if they've not already opened it of course changed from Bug as we're doing the standard Eclipse thing; we can see if we can force ourselves onto the first level popup menu for perspectives though (e.g. for the RCP build maybe?)
we don't see any easy way to do this so marking it as a low priority feature a few releases into the future
