This issue fixes:

Initially, we were planning to switch to our own branch of Aries to fix ~~ESB-1683~~/~~ESB-1706~~/~~ESB-1711~~, but that would also require us to upgrade to the latest version of Felix in a minor release. However, there's also a pending vote to release suitable artifacts for fixing all these issues, cfr. http://aries.15396.n3.nabble.com/VOTE-Blueprint-Transaction-JMX-Util-fixes-Attempt-2-td4023174.html so we might as well use the Apache artifacts as soon as they're available.

Adding this to the bug queue as this is the real fix for all the linked issues. With a bit of luck on the Apache votes, we won't even have to discuss it on this week's call any more
