Fuse MB slave in shared filesystem master/slave setup reports Slave=false in JMX

Created: 23/Mar/10 03:01 PM   Updated: 07/May/10 11:19 AM
Component/s: broker
Affects Version/s: 5.3.0-fuse-01-00
Fix Version/s: 5.3.0.6-fuse, 5.3.1-fuse-01-00

External Issue URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-2669

 Description  « Hide
If you set up a shared filesystem master/slave, start the master, start the slave and then point JConsole at the slave the "Slave" attribute of the broker mbean is set to "False", same as the master. So it's not as straightforward as it should be to figure out via JMX whether or not an instance of the broker is a slave or not.

This is a follow on from http://fusesource.com/issues/browse/MB-590 - I guess it is after the fix for MB-590 that this jmx attribute is visible.
MB-590 needs to go into a SMX release, is the same true for this issue?

Yup, needs to go into 3.4.0.5 and the service pack for 4.2, thanks Gary!

Fixed and merged in both 5.3.0-fuse and 5.3.1-fuse branches
