If you start up a failover instance of ActiveMQ (using shared JDBC message store), and then failover to it, you find that jconsole shows no statistics for any of the queues in your store. The statistics only appear in JMX if there's an active producer or consumer to the JMS destination. This gives the impression that the destinations have disappeared, and that the failover has not worked successfully. It would be better if the JDBC adapter was able to scan the message store to determine the contents and eagerly register the JMX values.
